Where do we meet?
If you are staying in or near the old town, your guide meets you at your hotel entrance, so there is no meeting point to find. Staying further out, we agree an easy spot when we confirm the day.
What if someone in our party walks slowly, or uses a wheelchair?
Tell us in the enquiry. The old town is mostly flat and the routes bend well; some passages and viewpoints do not. We will say plainly what works and what we would change, before anything is confirmed.
What happens in bad weather?
Salzburg rains. The route changes, the day still works, and your guide has already thought about it. If the day genuinely cannot work, we say so and move it, at no cost.
How do we pay?
Nothing at enquiry. Once the day is agreed we send a payment link, and you pay online in advance. No cash needed on the day, unless you want to buy yourself a coffee along the way.
What if we need to cancel?
Plans change, especially while travelling. Once your day is confirmed: up to 7 days before the tour you get 90% back; inside 7 days the tour is charged in full, because the day was held for you. The exact terms are on the terms page. Tell us as early as you can and we will find a fair answer.
Is tipping expected?
No. The price is the price. If your guide made the day and you want to tip, it is appreciated and entirely yours to decide.
What language is the tour in?
English or German, your choice, at the same quality. Say which you prefer in the enquiry.
What time should we start?
Whenever suits your day. Mornings are quieter in the old town and we like them, but the tour starts when you want it to.
What should we wear?
Comfortable shoes, and a layer for the weather. This is a walk, not an event. Nobody dresses up for us.
