Old Town Walk

The tour every other one of ours is measured against. Salzburg’s old town walked properly: the famous places, the corners most visitors pass without noticing, and the stories that connect them.

The route runs through Mirabell, the Mozart buildings, Getreidegasse and the passages behind it, the ecclesiastical quarter, Domplatz, Residenzplatz and Mozartplatz. Order and emphasis flex on the day: weather, pace, and what you turn out to care about.

It is the right first day in the city, and the one we recommend to anyone arriving with no plan. Your guide sets the pace with you: there is time for questions, detours and photographs, not a march between landmarks.

Pickup is included when you are staying in or near the old town. If you want more, we can add an extra hour with the guide, a fortress or museum entry, or a coffee stop at the end when we agree the day together.
